CERTUSS steam generators provide high-quality, high-pressure steam within a very small footprint. CERTUSS generators can produce steam within 5 minutes of a cold startup, and they are very easy to operate using a color touchscreen interface. Complete boiler room systems “on a skid” are available, including heated boiler feed unit, water softener, chemical treatment, blowdown separator, and every other accessory required for a fully functional steam plant – all factory-engineered, assembled, piped, wired, and tested.
CERTUSS steam generators are also intrinsically safe because there is very little water contained in the vessel. Combustion air is preheated through the air-insulated jacket, making CERTUSS steam generators extremely efficient. Universal TC
CERTUSS The Universal TC series offers our highest capacities, along with full burner modulation, and greater fuel flexibility. Various fuel types may be utilized, including LPG, natural gas, #2 oil or a dual fuel burner for natural gas and #2 oil. Universal TC model steam generators are equipped to efficiently serve constant, as well as fluctuating, high-pressure steam demands. The touch screen control facilitates operation and gives a bundled overview of current pressures and configurations. All our Generators offer short heat up times and advanced options for remote access and operation.
Junior TC
Just because you need a smaller capacity steam boiler for your process, doesn’t mean you should have to compromise on capabilities. So many smaller capacity steam boilers on the market today aren’t truly designed to meet the needs of sophisticated small industrial processes, leaving customers with choices that are ill-suited, or just plain undesirable. Instead, the CERTUSS Junior TC offers the same quick start-up, on-demand performance, great touchscreen, automation, communication capabilities, and quality system components our customers appreciate in the larger Universal TC models.
Multiple Boiler Solutions
Spreading system steam demand across multiple, quick steaming, responsive modular boilers provides the benefits of greater turndown, operational flexibility, and redundancy. The practice of inefficient combustion across the wide modulating range of a single boiler over-sized for maximum load, with a boiler kept warm for back up, is being replaced by a multiple, modular, on-demand system approach for many steam users. CERTUSS offers not only the high performance and redundancy modern system designers and customers seek, but also does so with less installed horsepower than that needed from other brands, saving space and money.
Currently, for systems where the steam demand is spread across up to four (4) boilers, CERTUSS completely constructs the entire steam system on their factory floor, with all interconnecting piping and wiring, pre-commissioning not only the boilers, but all subsystems; feedwater, blowdown, softening, and chemical feed, which support steam production, and protect the boilers. We’ve manufactured and assembled entire multiple boiler, modular steam generation systems supplying over 18,000 lbs/hr, or over 500 Hp in capacity using this method. This approach makes for ease of re-assembly on-site, minimizing field fabrication only to that of connections of external utilities, as well as added assurance for our customers that the system is properly assembled and tested.
