Boilersource provides cutting-edge Combined Heat and Power systems in the 5-200 kW range, and we are proud to represent the best brands in the space. As the name implies, CHP solutions provide heat (hot water) and power (electricity) fueled by clean energy sources like natural gas, RNG or propane, and are hydrogen ready. These units enhance energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and deliver tangible economic savings by producing electricity for less cost than buying it from the utility. Rebates and tax incentives are also available.

Holiday Table Talk & Thanksgiving Conversation Starters to Spark Smiles

This month we are offering suggestions for keeping the conversation lively at Thanksgiving, as it can be its own brain teaser. To help spark laughter, reflection, and a few memorable moments around the table, here are seven fun conversation starters sure to get everyone talking:

What’s one small thing you’re incredibly grateful for this year?
A reminder that gratitude doesn’t have to be grand - sometimes the best joys are the simplest.

Which dish on the table deserves its own TV cooking show - and who’s the star chef?
A playful way to show appreciation for the cooks (and the casseroles).

What’s the funniest thing that happened to you this year?
Cue the storytelling - and maybe a few tears of laughter.

If you could invite any fictional character to Thanksgiving dinner, who would it be?
Harry Potter carving turkey? Ted Lasso giving grace? The possibilities are endless.

What’s a food you’d happily ban from Thanksgiving forever?
Controversial opinions welcome - cranberry sauce, beware.

What’s the most creative (or questionable) Thanksgiving leftover recipe you’ve ever tried?
Because some experiments deserve applause… and others, a warning label.

What’s something you’re excited for in the year ahead?
A hopeful look forward as the holiday season kicks off.

Whether you’re celebrating with a crowd, a few close friends, or coworkers before a long weekend, these prompts make it easy to turn your Thanksgiving meal into a moment of connection.

Sweet & Simple:
Apple Cinnamon Roll Casserole

This one-dish wonder combines fluffy cinnamon rolls, gooey apple filling, a crunchy streusel topping and the sweetest icing drizzle. Overnight prep means easy serving in the morning.

Serves: 8-10 | Prep Time: 10 min | Chill Time: 4 hrs or overnight | Bake Time: ~45 min

Ingredients

  • 2 (17.5 oz) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (e.g., Pillsbury® Grands!)

  • 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling

  • 1¼ cups heavy cream

  • ¼ cup softened butter

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup rolled oats

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided (1½ t for streusel + remaining for icing)

  • Icing from the cinnamon roll cans (use as directed)

Directions

  1. Cut each cinnamon roll into 1-inch pieces and set the icing aside.

  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Add the cinnamon roll pieces, then dollop the apple pie filling randomly among them. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the casserole base.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours — or overnight for best results.

  4. Preheat the oven to 350 °F

  5. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, flour, brown sugar, oats, and 1½ t cinnamon. Use a pastry cutter or fork to mix until you get large crumbly pieces (streusel topping). Remove the cover, spread the streusel evenly on top of the casserole.

  6. Bake in preheated oven until the top is browned and the mixture is bubbly — about 45 minutes.

  7. While baking (or immediately after), whisk together the reserved icing and the remaining ½ t cinnamon. Drizzle it over the warm casserole before serving.
